D11 at Docklands was an active artist run initiative during 2013-2014.

The Last Barrier 2014 is a video work produced in response to the “boundaries” theme of the group exhibition in.ter.face, held at D11 in 2014.

The work responds to the theme from a human psychological perspective. With layers of text and form, it is the “sense of self” that is elusive, transient and immaterial. Boundaries are alluded to, perhaps self-imposed, but they also morph and change, improbably luminous, yet tenuous. The title is borrowed from the book The Last Barrier by Reshad Feild.
